# prioritisetransaction

> Overrides the priority of a transaction in the mempool.

### Parameters

  Unique identifier for a blockchain network.

  Request identifier used to match responses.
</ParamField>

  JSON-RPC version.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="method" type="string" default="prioritisetransaction" required>
  JSON-RPC method name.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="params" type="object" default={["",0,0]} placeholder="[&#x22;&#x22;,0,0]" required>
  Parameters: \[txid, dummy, fee\_delta].

  Positional parameters for <code>prioritisetransaction</code>:

  <ul>
    <li><code>params\[0]</code>: 32 Bytes - hash of the transaction.</li>
    <li><code>params\[1]</code>: Unused parameter kept for compatibility (set to 0).</li>
    <li><code>params\[2]</code>: Fee delta in satoshis added to virtual priority.</li>
  </ul>

### Returns

  True if the transaction priority was adjusted. Example: <code>true</code>.
